Cookies Notice
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This Cookies Notice explains how hayssamalamine.com (the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
2. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Site to work properly, for example, remembering your language preference and your cookie-consent choice. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
Analytics & performance
Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site (pages visited, time on page) so we can improve it. These are only used with your consent where required.
Functional
Enable enhanced functionality, such as embedded scheduling (Calendly) or media. Third-party providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.
3. How we use cookies
- To remember your language (English / Arabic) and interface preferences;
- To store your cookie-consent decision so we don’t ask on every visit;
- To measure and improve the performance and content of the Site;
- To enable third-party features such as booking a call.
4. Third-party cookies
Some features rely on third parties who may set cookies, including our scheduling provider (Calendly) and, where enabled, analytics and social platforms. We do not control these cookies; please review the relevant provider’s policy for details.
Calendly (scheduling)
Booking a call opens Calendly’s scheduler embedded within this Site rather than sending you to another website. Calendly’s code and cookies are only loaded at the moment you open the scheduler, if you never open it, nothing from Calendly is loaded and no Calendly cookie is set.
Calendly’s own cookie banner is switched off inside that embed, because this notice and the consent banner on this Site cover it. Once you open the scheduler, Calendly may set cookies and similar identifiers on your device and will receive the information you enter when booking, acting as an independent data controller under its own terms. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice, Cookie Notice and Terms of Use. If you would rather not use the embedded scheduler, email us instead at hayssam@rpm-consultancy.com.
5. Managing your preferences
When you first visit the Site, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Note that disabling some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
6. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookies Notice from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
